As faithful Latter-day Saints, the challenge we face with the Adam-God concept is to obtain the most accurate "big picture" of what the doctrine of The Church was and is. In this journey, we cannot settle for laying aside any of the prophecies and revelations of God, His inestimable gifts to Man, in exchange for only a few which are personally favored. There are, however, a few essential items to take into consideration as we strive to understand this subject, and gain a proper idea of its level of spiritual importance:
